* Exported from MasterCook * Hot Bananas with Cinnamon Coconut sauce Recipe By : Indonesian Cooking Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 large ripe bananas SAUCE: 1 tablespoon flour 2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 1/3 cups coconut milk Remove ends from bananas, place bananas into a covered steamer over a pan of boiling water, cook for 5 minutes. Use tongs and a knife to peel off banana skins. To make Cinnamon Coconut Sauce: Add flour, sugar and cinnamon to a pan and stir until well combined. Add coconut milk and blend until smooth. Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens. Simmer for 2 minutes. Serve Cinnamon Coconut Sauce with hot bananas. Serves 4.
