Farrell Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Cordials & Liqueurs Fifth Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 Cups Cherries 1 Fifth Brandy 1/4 Cup Sugar Syrup Cut up the cherries and remove the pits. Take about one-half of the pits and wrap them in cheesecloth; smash with a hammer. Put the cutup cherries and the crushed seeds into a large jar; add the brandy and close tightly. Let steep for about 3 weeks. Strain off the liquid with a wire strainer and extract any additional fluid from the cherries by wringing them wrapped in cloth.
