    2 1/4  cups          flour
    1      teaspoon      baking powder
      1/4  teaspoon      salt
    1      cup           butter
    2      cups          brown sugar
    2                    eggs
    2      teaspoons     vanilla
    1      cup           pecans -- chopped
    1      cup           coconut
 
 Preheat oven 350 degrees. Prepare 13x9 inch pan.
 Beat together butter and sugar, ad eggs and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients, f
 old in nuts and coconut. Pour into pan and bake 35 minutes. Cool in pan and cut
  into bars.
