                       Apple Crisp with Orange Juice

    4      medium        cooking apples,cored and sliced
      1/4  cup           orange juice
    1      cup           sugar
      3/4  cup           all-purpose flour
      1/2  teaspoon      ground cinnamon
      1/4  teaspoon      groend nutmeg
           dash          salt
      1/3  cup           butter or margarine
                         whipping cream
 
  Place sliced apples in a buttered 8-inch square baking dish; drizzle with oran
 ge juice.
  Combine sugar and next 4 ingredients; cut un butter with a pastry blender unti
 l mixture 
  is crumbly, and sprinkle over apple mixture. 
  Bake at 375*  for 45 minutes or until apple is tender and topping is golden. S
 erve warm
  serve with whipping cream.   Yield: 4 servings
