            Buttermilkchocolate cake:
       4 oz Sweet german cooking
            -chocolate
            -- broken into 4 pieces
   2 1/3 c  Sifted cake flour
   1 1/2 c  Sugar
       1 ts Baking soda
     1/2 ts Baking powder
     1/2 ts Salt
     2/3 c  Unsalted butter; softened
       1 c  Buttermilk
       1 ts Vanilla
       2 lg Eggs
            Coconutpecan marmalade:
       1 c  Evaporated milk
       1 c  Sugar
       3 lg Egg yolks; lightly beaten
     1/2 c  Unsalted butter
       1 ts Vanilla
   1 1/3 c  Coconut flakes
       1 c  Pecan piece
  
       Butter three 8 inch cake pans thoroughly and line the
   base of each with baking parchment. Rub a little more
   butter onto the paper. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
