       Title: Chocolate Sour Cherry Cake

       Yield: 10 servings
  
      12 tb Butter; unsalted
       6 oz Semisweet chocolate
       1 c  Sugar
     3/4 c  All-purpose flour
            ; sifted with salt
       1 ts Salt
       6    Eggs; separated
       1 ts Vanilla extract
       1 cn Sour cherries; drain
  
   Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt chocolate and butter
   together; let cool slightly. Beat egg yolks and sugar until
   lemon colored. Add chocolate and egg whites. Pour into a
   buttered 10-1/2 spring form pan. Sprinkle drained cherries
   evenly on top. Bake for 55 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes.
   Run knife around edge to loosen. Let cool completely and
   remove from pan.
