                              Cocoa Apple Cake

    3                    egg
    2      cups          sugar
    2      sticks        margarine -- softened
      1/2  cup           water
    2 1/2  cups          flour
    2      tablespoons   cocoa
    1      teaspoon      baking soda
    1      teaspoon      cinnamon
    1      teaspoon      allspice
      1/2  cup           chocolate chips
    2      cups          apple -- shredded
    1      tablespoon    vanilla
 
 Cream together eggs, sugar and margarine.  Add water.  Add dry ingredients to
 creamed mixture, mix well.  Fold in chocolate chips and apples.  Add vanilla.
 Mix until distributed evenly.  Spoon into greased and floured 10″ loose
 bottomed pan or bundt pan.  Bake in 325 degree oven for 60 to 70 minutes.
