Add coloring and water. Sift flour, salt, soda and cocoa together, and add to creamed mixture with milk and vanilla. Add vinegar (fold in lightly.) Grease and flour 2 (9-inch) round cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cream Cheese Frosting is delicious on this cake.
