       Title: Chocolate Pound Cake

       Yield: 12 servings
       1 c  Butter or margarine;
     1/2 c  Shortening
       3 c  Sugar
       5    Eggs
   1 1/2 ts Vanilla
       3 c  All-purpose flour; sifted
     1/2 c  Cocoa
     1/2 ts Salt
     1/2 ts Baking powder
     1/2 c  Milk

   Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
   Cream butter, shortening, and sugar together in mixing bowl
   until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating
   well after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Sift flour,
   cocoa, salt, and baking powder together; add to creamed
   mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with
   flour mixture. Mix well after each addition. Spoon batter
   into prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until
   toothpick inserted one inch from edge comes out clean. Cool
   in pan for 10 minutes; turn out onto wire rack and cool
