                         Chocolate Upside-Down Cake

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

                         Cake:
    2      cups          flour
      1/2  teaspoon      salt
    4      teaspoons     baking powder
    1      cup           milk
    4      teaspoons     butter -- melted
    2      squares       unsweetened chocolate -- melted
 
                         Sauce:
    1 1/2  cups          sugar
    1 1/2  cups          brown sugar
    6      tablespoons   cocoa
    3      cups          boiling water
 
 Cake:
 Combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder together.  Add milk and
 mix.  Melt chocolate and butter together in a separate dish.  Cool
 slightly then add to the cake batter and mix well.  Pour mixture into a
 buttered 9 X 13 pan.
 
 Sauce:
 Combine sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa together and sprinkle over the cake
 batter.  Carefully pour boiling water over the top.
 
 Bake at 350 for 40 min.
 
 Serving Ideas:  Serve warm plain or with ice cream or whipped cream.
